Middle school is a crucial time for young men in Memphis. Too many boys become disconnected from school, lose confidence in their abilities, and begin to see education as something that happens to them rather than something that opens doors for their future. By the time they reach high school, less than 16% are ready for college according to the ACT.
At Memphis Grizzlies Prep, we're changing that narrative by creating a learning environment intentionally designed for how boys learn and grow. Every young man is challenged to lead with character, pursue academic excellence, and discover that his voice, talents, and purpose matter. Our goal is not simply to prepare boys for the next grade—we prepare them to become confident scholars, servant leaders, and men of integrity.

Without intentional opportunities to explore science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics, their confidence and curiosity can give way to self-doubt just as they begin imagining their future.
At the Memphis Grizzlies Prep STEAM School for Girls, we're changing that narrative by creating a learning environment where every girl is challenged to think boldly, solve real-world problems, and discover that she belongs wherever her dreams and talents take her.
