Report cards were sent home on Wednesday, October 30th. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can connect you with your child’s teachers and ways to support him. Be on the lookout soon for a letter on how we started executing our "RTI” classes that target students’ individual needs to help them grow academically.

Social Studies is currently in our unit on Ancient Israel. For more information, visit the Social Studies website: https://grizz6thgradehistory.weebly.com/ Homework for BC/UF was passed out a day late (Tuesday, 10/29) due to printer malfunction. All Social Studies HW will still be due Friday, 11/01. Test corrections for the unit test on Ancient Egypt will be passed out on Monday 11/04 and will be due Friday 11/08. If your student made a failing grade, please remind them to fill out and turn in a Retake Request form in order to schedule a retake for the test.
ELA: Please make sure your student is annotating their homework for major character, setting, conflict, and resolution. Please refer to the pictures of the notes below for guidance. Thank you for your support! Let's have a great Quarter 2!
Mrs. Barrett will offer ELA Tutoring for scholars in 7th grade on Monday, November 4. Tutoring will end at 4:15. 7th grade scholars will have an ELA quiz on November 12. To prepare, scholars should study any notes they've received since the beginning of second quarter.
Attention 8th grade families: Thursday, November 7th from 5:30 - 6:30 PM we will host preview sessions with local area high schools! You and your son will have the opportunity to pre-select three high schools you're interested in and rotate to their sessions! Each school session will last 20 minutes comprised of a school presentation and Q & A. The registration link will go out Thursday, October 31st.
